How often should snake plants be watered?
Your snake plant needs to be watered once every 2 weeks. Allow your snake plant's soil to completely dry out between waterings to prevent root rot and overwatering. In the winter, your snake plant may not need as much water; during this time, water your snake plant once a month if the soil is still moist after 2 weeks.
Should I mist my snake plant?
Snake plants originate in the desert. They are accustomed to hot and humid conditions. It is not recommended to mist the snake plant's leaves. Misting causes the plant to become overwatered, leading to health issues including root rot, bacteria and worse.
